Fae can’t lie.
That’s the golden rule woven into the people of Elphyne, but for deaf Elf Guardian Aeron, he knows this isn’t true. Lies are told between the lines, in misdirection, and in false hope.
When he turns up at the Spring Court with his newfound, broken human mate in his arms, he learns the most cruelest lie of all. He is not who he thought he was. His whole life has been orchestrated… even this moment… even this new love burgeoning in his heart for a human enemy with more secrets than his own.
Learning to trust and accept is hard for both of them, but with civil war on their doorstep, fae plotting to take them down, and the taint on the Well growing more dangerous, they have no choice but to try. Trust can only be found if they start from within.
Only then will they know where their true enemies lie…
Holy crap I am SO EXCITED!!!!! Already I’m feeling all the feels; I too was finally recently diagnosed with ADHD and a correlating sleep disorder after decades of angst, and receiving proper medical care has been such a game changer!!! Plus many of my family members are Deaf and I grew up signing so I can’t wait to see the representation. I’m assuming you used Auslan as a reference and not ASL; I’m obsessed with linguistics and love the history of signing!
I cannot wait to read this. I have to read the first season of the Fae book first. I held off on it until closer to this one being released. And I cannot wait to read them!!!
Supper excited to read the 8th book of this series, I have been forever captured by the story and characters 🥵
Okay Wow that cover is perfect! Not only does it grab your attention, you know you are in for a good read! That Fae is gorgeous!
I love to get lost in your stories. They have got me through painful times.
